Dr. J. Art Mirelez, Jr. maintains one of the most successful private dental practices in Fresno. A local boy, born in Fresno, and raised in the nearby small rural town of Caruthers, he attended and graduated from Caruthers High School. After graduation, he attended Fresno State University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with Honors. Dr. Mirelez received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry in 2002. Upon completion of dental school, he was selected for a General Practice Residency Program at Fresno’s University Medical Center, where he treated medically compromised patients under general anesthesia. Dr. Mirelez then went on to work for Healthy Smiles Mobile Dental Foundation, a local non-profit children’s dental organization.

Dr. Mirelez later attended the prestigious Misch International Implant Institute Program and after completion, acquired his Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologist, one of the highest international designations for skill in the surgery and restoration of dental implants. Dr. Mirelez earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) at the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in 2011 after completing over 500 hours of dental education after dental school. Today, Dr. Mirelez has over 2,000 hours of continuing dental education completed and all his patients rest assured that only excellent and scientifically proven dentistry is provided.

Dr. Sukhjit Gill is a graduate of University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He is actively affiliated with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and local dental societies.

As a dental professional, Dr. Gill enjoys building relationships with his patients and recognizes the importance of listening to patient needs. He has been commended for his compassionate care and believes every patient case is unique and must be approached and solved differently. He also understands the dental anxiety, fear, and past traumatic dental experiences that patients may have, and he is credentialed to use oral conscious sedation to put his patients at ease. Dr. Gill believes in patient education, prevention, and minimally invasive dental treatments. He finds true joy in helping patients in their journey to better oral health and Dr. Gill is committed to working hard for each and every patient!

In his spare time, Dr. Gill loves fitness, reading, writing, and travelling the world. He has published in the following competitive and peer-reviewed journals: Journal of American Dental Association (JADA), Journal of Dental Education (JDE), and Journal of Ethics in Biology, Engineering and Medicine. Dr. Gill understands learning is a never-ending process and actively involves himself in continuing education. He regularly completes more than 250 Continuing Education hours a year and has received training under well-respected dental scholars, such as John Kois, Snjezana Pohl, James Rutkowski, Istvan Urban, Michael Pikos, Frank Spear, and Bernardo De Sousa. He is a Fellow Candidate of Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), and International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He is a graduate of American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) Maxicourse. Dr. Gill is in process of finishing his advanced coursework at the prestigious Kois Center and enjoys working alongside his mentor and Kois Clinical Instructor, Art Mirelez.
